About Blake

Blake Lieschke is an experienced, commercially astute property professional with a background in valuation, development and commercial leasing. A Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, Certified Practising Valuer and Licensed Valuer in Western Australia, Blake is a highly regarded leader within the valuation, development and wider real estate industry.

With over 20 years experience across private, public and corporate sectors, Blake was formerly a senior equity partner and State Director of one of Australia’s largest ASX listed property companies, Acumentis Ltd. Blake has extensive experience with building and scaling business, facilitating mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures in addition to managing large teams.

An experienced expert witness, Blake regularly gives evidence at trial in Supreme and Family Courts of Western Australia, having been engaged in a number of landmark cases which revolve around complex property matters in recent years.

Specialising in a wide range of asset classes, his professional diversity includes residential, prestige residential, commercial, office, retail, medical, industrial and rural assets.

Blake also has extensive experience in acquiring, developing, syndicating, funding and managing assets. He enjoys assisting others in their development journey by providing advice around development feasibility, land subdivision and built form development projects across Western Australia.

He is passionate about the valuation profession and is actively engaged with the Australian Property Institute’s Western Australian Division, having served as a member of the API (WA) Divisional Council and as a current member of the API (WA) Professional Interview Panel. Blake regularly guest lectures at Curtin University’s Business School, particularly in the Valuation and Property Development discipline. Blake currently sits on the Curtin University Advisory Panel – School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, which provides strategic direction and advice to the University in current course curriculum, needs of the various professions, employers and wider industry.
